Read Jenny Joseph's well loved poem 'When I am old' and embrace your 64 years in the knowledge that you have at least another decade before you can call yourself 'old'. I'm not far behind you (62) and see the next 10 years (if I'm lucky enough to get them) my 'warming up and winding down' to old age decade. And at 72, it's on with the purple and the red hat!

Happy Birthday, Aussie Gran, 64 is a mere girl, I'm a few months older than DH he reminds me every New Years Eve that I will be whatever the year the coming year, but it's not until the autumn, I laugh when his comes up just in the New Year and I call him my toy boy.
I know, Bluebird - I often think, how can I possibly be 73? How can this have happened? (Before anyone says it, I do know I’m lucky and that it’s better than the alternative!)
