Tie cotton around a loose tooth, the other end to a door handle then get someone to slam the door?

Or make your rabbit go through an assault course?

Neither, but we did used to put a girl’s little corgi in the boot of her tricycle (no lid.) when we played outside in the mid ‘50s. We were probably aged 5 or 6. The dog cane everywhere with us.

Yes to the tooth - door slammed by my brother. He was only too pleased to help!

Yes to the cotton on the door no to the other. But I did scratch my name into the newly varnished bannister and blamed my much older cousin with whom I share a family name.

I've just remembered we used to push my friend's dog around in her doll's pram that only had three wheels. I wouldn't let her put it in mine in case it weed itself. A girl brought her pet rabbit to school in her jumper because, at the end of term, we could take a game.

I used to ride around the village with my cousin’s pet mice in my bike bag. I must’ve been about 8. My mother was horrified when she realised the ‘water’ in the bike bag was mouse-wee.

I used to push my budgies round the house in my pram. This was after a bath in the sink and being wrapped up in dad’s hankies.
Poor things.

We attached the dog's lead to baby brother's push chair and shouted "mush mush"
She was only too happy to pull although rather than a Husky she was a Jack Russell!
