Good morning, it’s wet here on the hillside in south Glos, but not raining at the moment.
I’m off to get the stitches out of my leg first thing, they’re rather embedded after two weeks 😬, today was the first appointment I could get at the surgery.
I’m picking up a friend en route and we’re having breakfast out in a new café; I’m looking forward to it.
Hopefully it’ll brighten up later, yesterday afternoon was lovely and sunny but not particularly warm. It’s looking like the weather will improve by the weekend.
I will give the dogs a good brush when I get back, they’re moulting like mad. It’s just as well we have a new vacuum cleaner! Bigger dog has a very fluffy undercoat, unlike tiddler whose hair is very short, it gets everywhere.
Best wishes to you all x

Good morning! It is bright in the NE Mids too with a light breeze and no rain forecast today. Taking advantage of a dry day to get some weeding done around the onions growing in the veg patch and the gooseberries are ripening at a pace now so I’ll be checking to see if any are ready to pick.
Have a good day one and all!

Good morning from a soggy Bristol. After a lovely afternoon, it poured down all-nighter and is bucketing atm.
All the best wit(bt he stitched, r&l.
Hurray, the plasterer came. I’d almost given up and had sat down after being busy all morning, washing (and scrubbing) floors, etc., when the doorbell went.
The chap spent about 40 minutes. Unusually, he was rather taciturn, got on with his job. Apparently, he was out of his area, but did a good job. He was pleased when I said that I’d do the painting because he would have needed to come back this afternoon to do it. I was left with sandpaper and a sponge sanding block. No problem, easy peasy.
I’m so pleased; I have been whinging about it since November when the old radiator was replaced,!
The other “Hurray” was that the outside painting had finally started, three years or six weeks late - take your pick.
Today is baking day, sewing, and generally filling it with things to do.
Hav3 a good day all. 🐦‍🔥 Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning from a bright and sunny Torbay.

Good luck with having your stitches removed, RosesandLilac. Having breakfast out afterwards will be a welcome treat, I’m sure.

I enjoyed my return to Move It Or Lose It yesterday and hope I do not suffer any after effects with achy joints, etc.

Back to help with Props this morning at our theatre.

Have a good day, everyone, and I hope it includes some sunshine.

Good morning from yet another dull and grey Black Country, where it rained off and on yesterday.

Audiology appointment yesterday for new moulds, and she programmed the Aids upwards for better sound. They used to do this by attaching the aids to computer, now it is done wirelessly.

I popped into Merry Hell Hill beforehand to collect sandals and straight leg joggers I had ordered.

Today I have to go to Mums to do her Lidl shop, and Spec Savers Audiology are visiting this afternoon to do a hearing test for her and review the Aids.

Good luck with stitches today R&L hope it is not too problematic.

At last gM plasterer finally arrived, so frustrating for you that these jobs take forever to happen.

Wishing you all the best day possible.
