Probably the cat. She's already had a good rummage through the parcels tchgrin.

Greenfinch Sat 14-Dec-19 20:48:18

It will be my cat who always takes up residence there.

Greenfinch Sat 14-Dec-19 20:49:23

Great minds Septima grin

I wouldn't mind Kelvin and his rumba hips! wink

One of the silver balls from the tree that the cat has knocked off.

Not that I've got the tree up yet as I'll have to get on my hands and knees tomorrow because I'm certain I can smell an orange that must have rolled out of the bowl at some time.
It's starting to smell quite pungent and has probably got a fur coat on. I'm getting whiffs now and again, not unpleasant but I'll have to seek it out before the tree goes in that corner.

My mum used to stick cloves in a couple of oranges and hang them up ( pomanders )

I expect to find several partly opened parcels where the GC have had a peep. It's usually best not to put them out till the last minute.

A new jigsaw

Something nice, that's just for me and not the house, kitchen or garden. And that I haven't for bought myself.

EllanVannin. I remember getting whiffs like that in my eldest sons room years ago. Every time I went in to clean, it wasn't there. One day he came home and left his school bag in the hall, I picked it up and called him to come and get it and noticed it was insanely heavy.

I told him he couldn't possibly carry that every day and asked him to show me what was inside so we could see what he could take out. In the bottom we found 9 apples in a various stages of decomposition.

And I thought I was doing well with the whole 5 a day thing.

George Clooney would be nice ???

phoenix Sun 15-Dec-19 01:17:25

No, Sunlover he's be a right pita, probably leaving his coffee pods all over the place, and thinking that just giving you one of those twinkly smiles would get him out of his turn at the washing up.

Nothing under my tree this year as it's all waiting at my son's house.

I'm just hoping I don't get one of these...

Nothing I need materially, a loving, happy day with my family would be what I wish for.

mumofmadboys Sun 15-Dec-19 08:47:19

A new mug, a nice tea plate and two books. We have Christmas day on our own this year, so I am hunkering down to enjoy the peace.

Oldandverygrey Sun 15-Dec-19 08:56:33

I would like to find a guarantee that my husband's health will improve next year.
