Rejected petition - your thoughts?

How our government caused the elderly and vulnerable to suffer.

A Compassion in Care petition was rejected 'because there was already a similar one' - but there wasn't. So what was the real reason, do you think?

I haven’t heard of this, but then I’m not on Facebook, which is where it seems you need to be to be able to sign petitions. Really thinking of the one to get DC sacked.

Toadinthehole, you don't have to be on Facebook (I am but hardly ever use it). As well as Facebook petitions, there are official government ones that anyone can start:

Then, Change, 38 Degrees and many other organisations have plenty of them to consider. Here's one calling for DC to be sacked:

I read a few days ago that the government is being sued - sorry I'm not a lawyer and I don't know the exact term - for getting us into this unnecessary mess in the first place.
I sincerely hope that treatment of the elderly and vulnerable form part of the documentation.
