I had my booster two weeks ago and was in bed for nearly 2 days. I had Moderna all 3 times. My husband gets his booster next weekend. I wonder if I can send him to the basement to recover? I am sure that it will be the worst reaction to a vaccine of all time in the history of mankind.
First one was just tired feeling, second one was low fever and tired, this one was a fever high enough that I had chills and doing nothing but sleep.
I am thankful my immune system is working so well.
The sore arm with all 3 was a surprise. I was told it was because it went deeper into the arm than a common flu shot would, though I have no idea if that is true.
I did experience was is referred to as "Covid Arm" after my first two shots. That is just an immune response, not an allergic reaction. It is just a rash at the area of the shot. It was swollen, red and hot to the touch. Felt like a bruise though, no itching. They recommend you alternate arms from now on when you get it. I wonder if that is what you had Chewbacca? Don't Google it though, the photos that some people put up were WAY worse than mine and rather scary looking.
I did use my opposite arm for my booster and I did have a small rash on it, but nothing like I did after my second. I will just alternate each year.
