I've had new storage heaters fitted. Has anyone any advice on keeping warm with the lowest electricity bills please?

Google “using storage heaters efficiently”. There are numerous sites offering advice and even videos.

Radiator shelves that clip on top to keep heat in the room. And some sort of metallic lining stuff that goes between the wall and heater to stop heat being projected into the wall. Sort of b and q type of material sheets

My ex has electric storage heaters in every room of his bungalow and I have to say that I'm never warm when I visit him; the room temperature always seems too low. He has heat reflective boards at the back of each heater and a fan gizmo on top of the heaters to disperse the heat into the rooms. His electricity bills are eye wateringly expensive, despite switching energy providers.

Last thing I expected to see under Culture / Arts !

MIL had storage heaters, she was either too hot as the weather changed or too cold, same reason.
