Are you a feeder?

My mother always insisted on feeding visitors, even if it was not meal time. She would also send them home with what we called a Red Cross Parcel of unused food. I find that I am doing the same, is it a natural mothering instinct?

Oh yes, oh yes. Don't do the parcels to take home but have to be stopped from feeding everyone who visits. I realise why they are mostly thinner than I am - they may not actually want to eat anything . .

I do it too!!! I am known as 'Freda the Feeder' How bad is that???
I can't help it. I love to think people are made welcome and food is one of the ways I show it, meal times or not!! And yes, everyone goes off with a little something to eat for later. smile

I'm the same, my boys say I am turning into my Mother, I dish out the food, and then when they say that's enough I always put on another spoon full for good measure... just like my mother does.

I am the same, love to feed everyone up, its the way I was brought up, the first thing you do when you have a visitor is to offer tea and something to eat.
