I want to make some of these, but can only find one recipe online. Would an ordinary cheese scone mix work ok?

(I’m talking about dainty little rounds of cheesy scone type mixture, with some of the rounds cut in half to make ‘wings’, and a cheesy filling in the middle, garnished with a bit of parsley)

How about cheese straw pastry cut into shapes and baked?

I would have thought more of a biscuit than a scone.

I would buy a pack ofready rolled puff pastry, open it out and cover with grated cheese, roll up like a Swiss roll, cut in round slices and squish the sides together to make a sort of butterfly shape. With a little tweaking it should be easy to create an acceptable looking butterfly, brush with beaten egg/milk and bake. Delist!!!!
