Embarrassing having to ask this but !

If all we buy on line or have delivered has to be cleansed ,
what about plants

Our local garden centre has closed so are offering a delivery
service. I so want some more house plants , can’t wear gloves.

Advice please

Use gloves, Wipe the pots with diluted bleach, don’t touch the leaves for a while , it should be fine. You can buy plant leaf cleaner, but it would depend on the plant, fiddly if you have lots of small leaves.
I would think that the Nursery will supply you with guidelines, if you have any doubts ?

Thank you, I thought it would be so Oopsadaisy , can’t wear
gloves so no new plants

Which part of can’t wear gloves was unclear??

Annie I would think , if the delivery chap can leave the pots somewhere out of the weather and you could leave them without touching them for 72 hours, you can then touch them without any problems .

Sorry, I didn’t explain, both my hands are badly arthritic, three fingers on both palms bent into palms, just forefinger
and thumb in use on each hand, I tried very large household
gloves but couldn’t get my knuckles in.

Have a giggle, I have thought of wearing socks on my hands !

I have a cousin the same as your hands and elsewhere in body. Ruffled with rhumatoid arthritis. So brave. Socks on your hands sounds a great idea! You go girl & enjoy yr plants.
