Why not, start a new thread for first time grans. I have to say i have been very nervous.

Everything is going great, spend today looking after DD and baby, made sure mum got plenty of rest whilst I looked after the baby for a few hours, oh my were those hours special. I found myself constantly checking he was breathing lol.,

Im in love, but i would be Im a grandma!

Hi sj congratulations on the birth of the little one, I too became a first time Gran on the 24th of May and there are also others on here that are first timers, maybe we should start a first time gran support group!! )

Aaaaaaaagh, new baby to love!
I'm expecting my 6th grandchild and feel guilty that the novelty has worn off.I don't feel thrilled any more at the yearly announcements and it's so hard to find presents when they've all got everything to pass down to each new baby.
