my daughter was 37 weeks yesterday - she has also had a show so hopefully sooner rather than later but I think the anticipation is worse than when I had mine, I'm being really good to & not asking her if there are any other signs yet. I'm going to be one of her birth partners so I'll know when something happens.

Good luck - with the waiting as well as with everything else!

Hi goose1964 Hope all goes well for your daughter (and you!) Our youngest daughter is 37 weeks on Sunday and has had a "challenging" pregnancy. She had 3 miscarriages (all at 10 weeks) and has bled, on and off, for the whole of this one. Her BP is all over the place and I am a nervous wreck. I couldn't cope with being a birth partner too!

Good luck goose and kitty. I hope all goes well for the arrival of your grandchildren thanks

I do know exactly what you mean my first gc was so overdue I was in an awful state, by the time the birth was announced I would have welcomed it my SIL announced she has had a puppy! I have a feeling my daughter is about to announce a second pregnancy, fingers crossed! so am feeling excited but could be jumping the gun!
How exciting to be a birth partner now that is a real privilidge congrats and hope all goes well

No news from me except DD's BP was normal yesterday and she didn't have to go for a day as an in-patient to be monitored - phew! smile

Grandson arrived safely at 0616 this morning - 48 hours after mum's waters broke. Looked like caesarean at one point but baby rallied and was born normally weighing 7lbs. He has the longest legs I've ever seen on a baby. So proud of my daughter who coped marvellously on just gas & air throughout smile
