....I got a Whatsapp from my DS in America announcing the birth of their baby - my 4th grandchild.
My cards and presents were all nicely organised and finished early because I'm off at the end of the week to California to help them out.
In many of the cards there were little notes telling people about the impending birth and my trip to America. I really feel I should add a PS, but, although I'm excited about it (of course), I have a lot to do and haven't got the time.
I don't know any details, but about 5.30 pm (our time) DiL sent a Whatsapp to say her waters had broken and they were on their way to hospital, then at 7.30 pm (2 hours later!!!) DS wrote and sent a picture of the little darling. Obviously a quick and uneventful delivery.
Isn't technology wonderful, that we could be told so quickly.
I've got another 'keen'... Ouch!
Well Labour’s “patriotism” didn’t last very long, did it? 🇬🇧
Last weekend, in Rutland, the first statue in Britain of the late Elizabeth II was unveiled.
What are these orange stains that have appeared on my hands overnight?
