central spinal stenosis

Anyone else suffering from this problem. I found out after having an MRI scan and finally am going to see a consultant later this week.I have googled and it doesnt seem to serious but i have such a lot of pain if i do too much or walk to far.
Can anyone tell me about successful treatments thay have had.
