My daughter has just arrived and shown me a lump on her nipple which arrived yesterday. It is raspberry coloured and right on the tip. It is itchy and sore. Makes me think of the red spots that are happening on my older body. Dr., of course, on Monday but any comments, please, Ladies. Thank you.

Wouldn't dream of guessing that is for the expert on Monday! Hope all goes well and you can both be reassured.

It might have gone by Monday. I've had breast cancer and have had multiple lumps and bumps since then, all cysts, necrosis or random other things. None cancer. I was just unlucky the first lump WAS cancer.

I sometimes have a patch of eczema on my nipple. It's very itchy!

Harris27 Sat 04-Jul-20 22:20:03

Had this before but it was due to a new bra rubbing on my nipple?

Ngaiol.I am a reired GP. It doesn't sound like breast cancer. More like a blocked duct. Breast cancer is not sore and itchy. Do get your DD to see her GP but in the meantime don't worry would be my advice.

To all of the kind people who gave advice. Nothing sinister discovered - mastitis! Thank you for your support.

Good news Ngaiol, so pleased to see it’s nothing serious.
