Relaying Laminate Flooring is it possible

We have a large loft already fitted with laminate.
Builders coming in to take up part of the flooring in two area for a job they are to do.
It's a very large loft so the cost of new laminate or vinyl will be in the thousands which is something to avoid if possible.
Perhaps saving some of the laminate to relay could be a possibility.
Just wondering if anyone as done this sort of thing and can advice.
Thank you

My husband lifted our kitchen flooring recently when we had a leaking pipe under the floor. It was up in the morning ,pipe fixed and the floor back down by evening. That was doing it himself ,workmen may not be as careful as its not their money they'll be wasting Check with the builders before they just rip it up

My son in law lifted my entire living room floor to allow new central heating installation. He refitted it all later and it still looks as good as new years later.

PS. I just remembered he numbered the back of every piece very methodically so that the pieces that had been cut in anyway ended up back in the right place!
