Has anyone tried the Switching Service now offered whereby you don't have to do anything like pop into a branch -if you can find one still open..considering this but still feel bit uneasy with direct debits coming out of old account at different times of the month...Any advice GNs? Thank yousmile

I’ve been with every bank over the years. It’s so simple now.
Nothing to worry about.

I agree, it is so simple. Just make sure the date chosen is after your pension (s) have been paid in. You do not do anything and 99% of the time 7 days later all is sorted.

I've moved banks many times, it is the easiest thing to do, all DDs are changed over without you having to do anything.
All you have to do is notify your employer or whoever pays your pension.

Agree it’s very simple. We found it painless, no hitches.
