I've never even tried. I could never hit a tennis ball where I wanted it to go, and that is only a few yeards.

There are certainly several good courses in Edinburgh, Par4thecourse , but I am not a golfer, so have nothing to offer here. I've alerted my brother and my sister-in-law, who both golf, so they may have some info for you. Watch this space.

Of course, St Andrews is the golfers paradise, and makes a good day out if you are holidaying in Edinburgh.
