Can over 50s still have a good night out in Blackpool

I have fond memories of many (inebriated) weekends in Blackpool when I was younger, but am more hesitant these days. Would anyone recommend Blackpool as a venue for over 50s these days?wine

Yes . lots to do in Blackpool for the over 50s but possibly avoid Saturday nights in the town centre which can be very lively. There are three large entertainment/ dining venues, some very good restaurants and two theatres. The promenade and shopping centre have been renovatedalong with the tower and other attractions. Some great accommodation deals midweek. As we used to say "beat the peak and come midweek"

Only been there once, but yes, it was an inebriated occasion. I don't think I have the stamina any more.
