i was thrilled to see there is a local site for Dorset, but suprised that there are no messages.i live in weymouth, and visit Poole almost every week and sometimes manage to get to bournemouth,which can be difficult without a car.living in weymouth is fine in the summer but there is not a lot to see or do in the winter. which is why my friend and i enjoy coming on the train to shop and have lunch in the warmth and comfort of the indoor shopping centre.there are some great retail shopping centre's also.i hope the meet ups will get started as soon as the weather improves.i am not a local person but have lived in dorset for many years, it is a wonderful county.i hope to hear from other dorset gransnet ladies soon.
