Is there a Manchester speciality that we must be sure to sample if we visit?

(This is another forum which seems obsessed with food. It must be a Gransnet thing.)

Just outside Manchester, near the airport, there is the Cheshire Smokehouse, which sells local smoked produce and lovely artisan breads. Worth a visit to their cafe, which has these foods on the menu.
