Hi, I am Helmar, I have been on Gransnet from when it first started. I live in Bearwood. I thought it would be nice to introduce ourselves. Anyone else out there????

Hello,just Introducing myself,
I am new to the local Gransnet,I moved to Quinton about 2 years ago from Bartley Green.
I was surprised to find that there were no Chess players at the local Day Centre,I am new to the game so dont go challenging me to a game just yet.
While at the day centre I was invited to a 10 am breakfast meeting the following day.I was a bit nervous, however,there was one Lady there and I struck up a conversation, suddenly about 12 women walked in and I lost my bottle and left. What would you do in this situation.
