Are there any other Surrey GNs out there?? Anyone fancy a walk or a coffee or both?

GUnan Fri 14-Jun-13 16:54:28

It was good to meet you coastwallker and GUtwo this week. Enjoyed getting to know a bit more about you.

coastwallker Fri 14-Jun-13 19:11:04

Yes it was fun and we must do it again sometime. Hopefully a few others will be able to join us too.

GUtwo Tue 25-Jun-13 18:37:08

Sorry to be so long responding. Just got myself settled and sorted and back with my own computer.
It was lovely to meet you both, I'm looking forward to the next time.

Glad you got home safely GUtwo. It was lovely to meet you too. Let's try and arrange something when you are here again and maybe we can find a few others to join us.
I've just spent the week with the babies again as my poor daughter was hospitalised with a nasty attack of tonsillitis.Night feeds and keeping track of a two year old who can create mayhem in seconds was hard work. Lovely to have an excuse to be with them again though and she is now recovered and I am home.

We plan to have a meet-up in Reading on Thursday 18th July. If you live that end of Surrey perhaps you would like to join us. We will probably meet in the café in John Lewis . We haven't decided on a time yet.

Normally I would have been keen to join you in Reading Finch as it is my home town, although I live in Surrey now. But I am heading to Oxford today for a day with my sister - shopping, lunch, shopping, tea, wine bar, home - that sort of really hard day smile

Finch Wed 17-Jul-13 11:39:11

See you next time then hopefully coastwalker.

Hello fellow gransnetters from Surrey, I am in Bisley and would like to come to the next meet up if possible. Sorry I missed the one in Guildford.

Finch Fri 09-Aug-13 15:14:52

maryjane There is a meet-up in Reading on 5th September that you would be very welcome to join but you may think it is a bit far from Bisley for you. I put it on this thread as some of the Surrey folk have said it wouldn't be too difficult for them.

GUnan Mon 12-Aug-13 07:53:04

Hi

I might be able to make the Reading get together on 5 September. I am starting a new p/t job in September so not yet sure what days etc I will be free. I will find out in the next few days and will let you know.

Finch Mon 12-Aug-13 11:39:12

Lovely if you could make it GUnan.Venue hasn't been decided yet (John Lewis last time which was fine ) so we are open to suggestions

GUnan Mon 12-Aug-13 18:41:23

I don't know Reading at all but I know I can get their easily by train!

Finch Mon 02-Sep-13 12:17:09

Yes we are. Apologies for not replying but I forget to look on the local sites.

GUtwo Wed 09-Oct-13 13:47:17

Hello everyone,I'm going to the Reading meet up on 25th October.

coastwallker Thu 10-Oct-13 07:33:59

I've got my eye on it but waiting for family commitments. But yes I may well go.

GUtwo Fri 11-Oct-13 16:00:08
