Hi I read yesterday that the Blackpool Lions Club now has only 8 members who are all over 60. The Lions Carnival has raised thousands of pounds for charity in recent years and it would be a shame to see it close. With so many people taking early retirement or being unemployed there must be some people who could give a few hours a week to the club ?
