Lonely carer needs new friends

Hi, I'm carer for my 82 year old husband and get very lonely. My only break is walking my dog. I would love some friends in the York area to chat to and maybe meet up for a cuppa. Please get in touch.

Hi Gloria, hope you find time to pop back in the local forum. It can be a bit confusing carrying on conversations by direct messages as well as on Gransnet.com and Gransnet local but great to see that you found the local forum for York and North Yorkshire.
Hopefully a few more will join in soon and we can arrange a meet
up close to or in York.
