A lot of what she says rings true, "Women are always a work in progress, whereas men tend to stick with what makes them comfortable".

Are you still with you partner? Do you live on your own? But most importantly are you happy with your life.

I have been in a monogamous relationship for 38 years, we differ on most things including work which is 24/7, we holiday separately at present due to an ailing dog yet it works! I was raised on the maxim "you make your bed and you lie in it". The article was certainly thought provoking, but you have to be free of all commitment to simply walk away, most of us have children, grandchildren and aged parents to consider, who will gladly fill any gaps left by a partner. Yes I am happy but realistic, any relationship has its ups and downs that's life
