Yes this is worrying me - my grandson is 9 1/2 and plays online with friends from school. He's very recently been allowed to play call of duty which I think is too old for him but my daughter says all the others play it and he'd be left out! I don't know about being bullied about it but he does get more upset if not allowed on Xbox than other bans as a punishment- makes you wonder if there are repercussions at school if they aren't playing. This isn't new though - we didn't let our daughter watch 18 or horror films as a young teenager but discovered others were allowed and showing them on sleepovers without other parents knowledge!!

My son and his wife are very concerned because a number of children in their son's class of 9 year olds have games classified for people over 18 years of age. The children play these games on line so the children of parents who do not allow these games are being bullied by the other children. We are talking about a middle class church school.
Anybody else come across this problem and what are parents thinking
