Do you encourage youngsters to visit you by displaying a pumpkin in your home?

I have lived in this area for 5 years and each year I buy a great bag of sweets to give to the children but end up eating them myself as there are no children here only us retired folks who live by the sea.
This year my grandchildren will be here and maybe I will go out trick or treating around my aged neighbours. Might shake them up a bit what do you think? [thwink]
