Hi Silverlady and welcome. We've not managed a get together yet but I thought of somewhere fairly central. Yandles at Martock is an interesting hobby/crafts/gifts place that has a coffee shop so I thought there for a first time. www.yandles.co.uk/

How about week commencing 7th April? Can we have a show of hands please if that week is ok, and can you state your preference, weekday or weekend?

All really informal - no best frocks just nice to meet other like-minded people in our area and a chance to make new friends.

Hi Sandy - can't make 8th or 9th of that week but the rest of the week is OK including weekends either side.

Hi Sorry, only just seen this post. We're in Taunton and don't have transport unfortunately. My daughter has a museum activity session on the 10th, otherwise I would have seen if we could get over on the bus. Enjoy though and have a cake for me.

Well it was lovely to meet SueD and Gimmer (Lesley) today. We had a lovely chat, coffee cake AND lunch! (I did a bit of shopping afterwards too - bought some wool to knit me a jumper with, if I start now it might be ready for next winter!).

Do try and join us next time if you can - we can arrange for a meet closer to the majority of people if you let us know of somewhere suitable (i.e. with coffee and cake or a nice lunch). Have a think.
