The Swans Nest at Exminster is quite simply the best carvery restaurant anywhere. For anyone visiting the South West; Exeter is at the end of the M5, and the Swans Nest is minutes away. I grew up going to the Swans Nest for every special occasion with my parents. Then we took our children regularly as they were growing up. We have moved to Nottingham now but every time we visit the South West, The Swans Nest is worked into the itinerary
