Bedroom tax

On our main site there has been some discussion around bedroom tax and how it has affected one Gransnetter and forcing her to move to smaller accommodation which is proving difficult. Have YOU been affected by the bedroom tax and do you have any tips for other people in the same position?

I'm very lucky as its not affected me as i am not on any benefits and pay full rent but i know of people it has affected and theyve had to downsize...from what i see its the elderly that are suffering more as there arent the one bedroom places available for them to downsize to....councils need to build more properties for the elderly as we are all living longer now...in my area all the one bedroom places seem to be taken up by young single people ...
