I have a feeling that three may be the max, it is two more than I expected, I thought that I was on my own!

Well Harrow means the whole borough so maybe there are people on here from Pinner, Stanmore, Kenton, Hatch End etc etc too?

I'm in Watford - not too far from Harrow. Can get to the shopping centre in about 20 minutes, so if there was a get together ...............

Hello Starling! I'm new to gransnet and not yet in the habit of checking it frequently, so I apologise for not replying sooner. It would be great to meet up - how about one of the many cafes in Pinner?

Starling yes, but I cannot walk far, by far I mean more than 200 yards!

I think that the cafes are better in Pinner as opposed to central Harrow. They are a bit sparse there.

Charleygirl - where can you get to most easily?

I should just add that I am in Cornwall from Friday just for a week so I think it had better be after 5th Sept if that is OK with you and Grannynise and mrshat ?

I can currently do 8th, 9th, 10th, or 11th - are these dates convenient?

Harris & Hoole is very near some bus stops.

I can do the 11th but not until 11 o'clock. Sorry, I'm away on the 8th and 9th and looking after my DGD on the 10th as it's a school training day.

Sorry, I can only do the 8th and the 10th. On the 11th I have an appointment at RNOH Stanmore early pm and I have to be there early because parking although free, is nightmare.

If we ever find a compatible date, Pinner would be great- I could park in the main car park in a road whose name escapes me, but is opposite that yummy mummy shop.

Ok, moving onto the following week / fortnight..... I can do the Mon Tue Wed Thurs ie 15,16,17,18 EXCEPT that I think I have a floating communal birthday lunch somewhere in there, and then 22, 23, 24, 25.

I hope mrshat can get to Pinner because that's where we seem to be meeting!

Alternatively I suppose I can do the weekends if this helps at all, so 13/14, 20/21, 27/28. Although Pinner is quite quiet on a Sunday and probably quite busy on a Saturday.

Ok going on holiday tomorrow so please agree a date and I'll find out when I come back! But don't meet up without me or I'll have to sulk!

I thought that I would get the ball rolling. I am available Thursday 17th, Friday 18th September and then Wednesday the 24th and Thursday the 25th of September. Any takers?

Is the coffee shop at the top end of Bridge Street, near Lidl's and on that side?

Hello Harrow! This all sounds very exciting but I guess I will not be able to join you in September! I work 2 days a week anyway and with other commitments on Mondays and Fridays,Tuesdays are my best days. However, as we are away for a couple of weeks in September, and with visitors coming and grandchildren there is no time!!! So, if not this time, maybe next time and I hope it all goes well

Can I join in I'm not far away in Ealing? If I'm available on the day you all decide on.

I can do 15th, 16th, 17th or 18th Sept if that's any good?
