Who's in Harrow?

Hi pearlsaminger I used to meet with other ladies in Pinner not sure they do as I haven't seen any posted for a while. Just thought I'd look around &say hello!

Hi Gransnetters.... is anyone still in Harrow?

Been reading the threads from 2014 and wondered if anyone was still around. I’m new-ish to Gransnet, although I’ve been a member of Mumsnet for quite a few years.

OK excellent, that seems to be organised then! See you all at Caffe Nero! I won't bring "the mascot" this time - we'll all have to try and remember what each other looks like....!

(I'm not sure if that's grammatically correct but you know what I mean...).

11 a.m. on 25th is fine with me - hopefully I'll have a bit of a tan to show off!

I have just returned from Pinner. I was looking for a new cafe recently opened but I had to keep 1/2 an eye on the road. I think that Caffe Nero is as central as any for 11am Tuesday the 25th November 2014. It is in Red Lion Parade and with luck it should be open. Car drivers can park in M&S Foodstore if required.

Shame about the job Starling better luck next time hopefully... AFAIK I can also make Nov 25th so make that 5 yesses ooh! not sure how that is spelt

I will have a look today and hope to find one that is likely to be still open when we meet.

Grannynise when we met last month I parked in the main car park opposite Yummy Mummy. It is surprisingly large and near the shops.

I should think caffe Nero is the closest to the m and s car park.

I think there's still a café in front of the Sainsbury's but I haven't been in.

11 am will be fine with me. I will take a trip before Sunday and find somewhere which I think is suitable. What a pity M&S foodstore does not have a cafe.

Four for the 25th! Grannynise prefers morning - is this OK with everyone? 11am??

Charleygirl it would be good if you could identify a venue - especially one near to parking for those of you needing to park.

(The two I know of are the Starbucks on the opposite side of road or Daisy's in the Park)

I think that I could do the 25th November. Would you like me to look for another venue in Pinner if the other place has closed?

So that's three of us for the 25th! (I nearly got a job today but then didn't - however it does mean I am still available for the November meet-up!)

I can do 25th Nov - I'm going on holiday but will be back on 22nd

We definitely will need a new venue - I heard from a friend today that that café in Pinner has now closed down! They seemed very busy when we were there.

Currently I can do most Tuesdays. If we are looking at mid-November can people do 11th, 18th or 25th?

Starling hopefully all of the dishes will have been broken at that cafe and they are using paper cups. I agree with Grannynise it is the company which is more important.

Don't worry too much about the venue Starling, it's the company that matters.

Sorry to be late online (went to cinema last night then had to do urgent ironing for DS going on trip today etc etc). It was lovely to meet you all, sorry I didn't get a better table, maybe we'll choose a different venue next time - needs to be a bit quieter, more space, and less juggling of crockery in the background!
