Hello everyone!
I've just taken over the reigns as local editor - it may take me a while to get the hang of it so I thought it might be nice to do a face-to-face get-together over coffee one morning, so, would anyone like to meet up in Bristol City Centre near Broadmead on Wednesday 10th of September 11am?
I know that may not suit everyone, I just wanted to get the ball rolling and have to fit round my part-time work.
Next time we could have a coffee/meet up on a different day or somewhere else if people want that - I can sometimes get hold of a car or we could pick somewhere on an easy bus route.
So, Wednesday 10th September, 11 am - There's a really spacious cafe in the old fire station building (which explains the big red doors!) near Bridewell - it's called Kitchen at the Station and it's on Silver Street, between Nelson Street and Rupert Street, next door to Laser Fusion (used to be called Laser Quest).
I've been in there a few times and it does nice coffee and I thought 11am would give people the chance to get there after the morning rush and stay and have lunch if they wanted.
I'll try and get there early and could make a gransnet sign so you know which table to approach, or I could wear a comedy hat...

I just put a message on there to see if anyone is up for getting together on a Weds morning at Station.
