New car tax rules!

Hope it stops the previous scams!

I didn't know about it until yesterday. Obviously it will save on bureaucracy, paper and postage for those of us who renew on line. I do, however, wonder whether the police will have to spend more of their valuable time on checks, as they can no longer just glance at the discs.

What do you think about the new car tax rules? Are you even aware of them? Or is it just a waste of time/bureaucracy gone made? Tell us your views and whether you think its a good or bad thing.
