hi all, I have had a few requests for advice for new grandparents....what would your best piece of advice be? Please share with some of our newer members. Thank you

Ask before you do. This includes anything from visiting, offering to help, buying treats and presents. Sometimes misunderstandings occur when an older person has a very good heart and very good intentions. New parents, mums and dads can be much more fragile than they seem.
