Gransnet meet-up, Friday 7th November Cheltenham

Not long now, how will we recognise each other?

Just got back from holiday, and if I'm not too late I would love to join in next week.

No, that would be lovely Rabbit99. We are meeting at 1pm in Cheltenham, at Wetherspoons, Bath Road ( It's called the Moon under water). BeeJay23 I am going to ring Wetherspoons and try to book us a table. Will post on here what happens, if I can I will book under the name of Gransnet, so the staff should be able to point you in the right direction. Watch this space, and I am looking forward to meeting you all.

Hi. I'm fairly new to Gransnet, but have been on Mumsnet for ages. If you don't mind another joining you, I might be able to make the meetup at Wetherspoons (although I'd have to take off at 2pm for school run), provided I can find it.

it's just along the high street, past barclays and iceland and turn right on Bath road, correct? I don't venture past Barclays/Regency much, but I looked it up online.

Oddments, yes of course it's fine for you to come. heavenknows yes that is correct. I have booked a table or us for 1pm. I have booked it under my name but also Gransnet. There is a pic of me on my home page but you can always ask a member of staff to point it out if you don't recognise me. I will also prop a couple of Gransnet fliers on the table. If anybody who has previously agreed to come and can now no longer make it, could you let me know please. Any questions please just ask, otherwise I will see you all on Friday 7th November at 1pm.

Just got home, accident on the 46 just North of Bath added an extra hour to my journey......grrrr

My thanks to you too ladies for braving the awful weather. It was lovely meeting you all. Hope the venue was ok with everybody? I will be more than happy to arrange another meet-up, maybe in a couple of months time? If you would like to try a different venue next time please post, we can always arrange it, or it everyone is happy returning to this first venue then that's fine too.
