There's a new sculpture planned for Bristol for Green Capital that will re-use then recycle all the plastic bottles used in the marathon.

I'm quite looking forward to it.
Just got me wondering about those little swimming jack russell sculptures that were in Millennium square somewhere by the fountains. Can't remember seeing them for a while

I was reading in the paper that they have banned the sale of water in plastic bottles in San Francisco!

Agreed. I've told my youngest not to buy those face scrubs because all the little bits of plastic turn up in sea creatures.
I've started crocheting cotton shopping bags for friends too. I'm sure we didn't have plastic shopping bags much when I was little. Or black bin bags.
