Many of the retailers are already starting Black Friday special offers. BF follows Thanksgiving on Thursday but seems to be growing into a weekend! then we have Cyber Monday when the online offers continue.
Giving Tuesday is an antidote to all of that spending! I work for Lepra - we're at the bottom of North Hill, in the part of the Octagon building you can see as you walk down the hill. On Giving Tuesday, we're asking people to give a tweet or a Facebook post to raise awareness of our work in Bangladesh, India and Mozambique.
