Goodness, mine are quite silly enough to try to make friends with an adder! As you day, best to stick by the sea. Weather is looking good for tomorrow!

Hello there - I just met with someone who says there is currently an adder alert at Sizewell right now. Not good for dogs in the sand dunes!

But they should be OK on the beach.

Just thought I would let you know -

Just to mention again, a few of us will be having a walk along the beach at Sizewell, this Friday at 11am, starting at Beach Cafe. Any other friendly dogs and Gransnetters very welcome smile

Lupin Thu 01-Jun-17 22:44:11

Wish I could come too, but will be up in Manchester visiting family. Have a great time. I hope the sun shines for you.

lexigran Thu 01-Jun-17 16:37:33

16th is good for me, look forward to meeting you all smile

Great ... now in my diary. See you there, and if any Ipswich people or others can come, will be even better.

sunshine234 Wed 31-May-17 18:31:15

Oh great, I can come along on 16th! - 11 is good for me. I'm going to suggest that people from Ipswich come too, as they are trying to organise a meet up on 14th, but nobody seems to be replying?

lonniefrances Tue 30-May-17 08:45:43

Parking is £1 I think depending how long you stay, quite reasonable anyway. 16th is good for us, will bring both dogs and husband. Shall we say 11 to give us all time to get there, or is that too early? Hopefully it won't pour with rain but we will go anyway then there needn't be a mad rush to try to get hold of each other!

seacliff Mon 29-May-17 21:42:05

How about Friday 16th June then?

What time? I don't mind at all. Do you pay and park at the Sizewell Beach car park? If it's pouring with rain, do we agree last minute cancellation smile

Thundering here at the moment! Any of these dates would be fine with me.

seacliff Sat 27-May-17 08:38:44

Such lovely weather for a walk along the beach. Well how about any of these? Please give alternatives if you can't do these dates.

Thursday 8th June

Friday 16th June

Thursday 22nd June

Friday 23rd June

Look forward to hearing from you - all welcome with or without a dog smile Have a good weekend all.

sunshine234 Wed 24-May-17 15:16:09

I will try to fit in when it comes to dates. Perhaps if someone would like to suggest three possibilities, we could find one that suits us all?

lonniefrances Sun 21-May-17 13:47:19

I can't do 15th, fine for any day apart from that. Can pick you up Lupin if you would like to come.

seacliff Sat 20-May-17 09:22:56

Well the only dates in June I can't do are : Wed 7th, Friday 9th, Wed 21st.

Also can't do Monday and Tuesdays as I work then, but no worries if you prefer those days.

Please pick a sunny lovely day like today smile

sunshine234 Fri 19-May-17 20:30:04

Sizewell sounds brill. How about a date in June? What would suit?

lonniefrances Fri 19-May-17 13:56:01

Seacliff, I have two, you can borrow one of mine!

seacliff Fri 19-May-17 13:53:00

I am up for it if a day I can do, only trouble is I don't have a dog smile

lonniefrances Fri 19-May-17 13:45:31

Definitely up for this. We had a great dog walk at Sizewell last weekend with our labs canine creche. Cafe near the carpark, anyone fancy it there?

sunshine234 Fri 19-May-17 10:54:00

Hello! At our meetup yesterday, we thought a GN dog walk would be a really good idea. Do you agree?

We thought maybe we could walk to a cafe and back - partners and family welcome too.

So, any suggestions for where and when?

What do you think? All suggestions and ideas welcome.
