New rubbish and recycling system teething problems?

We've had the new system for a while now and I am still finding all the separating a pain.
The council say that black bag rubbish has been reduced, but I have seen an increase in fly-tipping.
Christmas will be a testing time!

Just changed the day here, lots of bags out on wrong days, guess people just didn't read the leaflet!!

I am looking out at my new wheely bin and see that a neighbour has put out clear bag recycling. They obviously haven't grasped the new system yet.
Personally I found the change not to be too taxing but have read that there have been many teething problems, including the bin lorry tracking system missing areas out.
How have you found it, straightforward or confusing?
