There is a meeting in Aberdeen on Saturday, January 13th for women belonging to the WASPI (Women Against State Pension Inequality) pressure group which is campaigning to help women disadvantaged by the current graduated pension age changes and the lack of time or notice to prepare financially. WASPI members – and their friends - from Aberdeen city and Aberdeenshire are encouraged to go along to the meeting at the Belmont City Cafe Bar, 49 Belmont Street, Aberdeen AB10 1JS, at 2pm to get the latest updates on the struggle to deal with the administrative confusion which has left many women in their 50s and 60s financially disadvantaged and unable to carry out plans made over 40 years of working life. Help will also be made available to people who can’t attend on the 13th. If anyone is worried about going in alone, I'd be happy to meet up in advance. Send me a PM.
