Hello, I have recently moved to the area and looking to meet new friends, I’m over 50 and would like to know more about the area and what there is to do for my age group, and enjoy meeting up during the day for coffee etc..

Regards
Debbie

Visit the library , there may be a notice board giving info of what is going on in the community

Check on the meet up forum on this site, if there isn’t anything going on near to where you are then post with suggestions for anyone interested.
We have a meeting in bluewater kent next month in case you are in this area.
There’s also the usual groups, WI etc, U3A too, probably with a history group. Choirs, adult education, if it still exists.
Good luck and hope you soon feel at home in your new surroundings.

Bridge/whist clubs, rambling clubs, U3a, Am Dram, local history group, gardening club? Any of these could give you a good start to making friends in a new area. as has been suggested, the local library should hold useful info.
