The forum is seen by people from Lands End to John O'Groats. They are all nearby to someone - but they won't know if they are near YOU.

Contact Gransnet HQ at [email protected] and ask them to add a mention of your location to the title of your post.

It comes up with Melksham at the top of this page.
May be worth adding that to the thread title.

Near Bath and Chippenham

Not at the top of my page. Is it on the local site? I do wish HQ hadn't put all the local forums together under one heading - people post thinking it will be seen just locally so don't say where they are. How can they be local when they cover the whole country?

I was surprised that it posted me with my local site name rather than this one.??

Hildegard Did you start the thread on a local site? That may be why Greenfinch has become *Finch", but it is not under a "Local" topic name.

I get Melksham but only when I open the thread. It would be worth asking GNHQ to change the heading to include your area.
