Cherrytree59 - We can keep something going on this local 'line' and we would love to hear your recommendations for places to go. We'll be taking our grandchildren on the snowdrop walk at Rode Hall soon (on the road to Little Moreton Hall turn left at the bottom of the bank before you reach Little Moreton Hall coming out of Stoke-on-Trent, it is signed)

Hi AnnB
I will check out the national gransnet fb.

Do you have a separate local GN Fb for Stoke and Staffordshire,
or are you just part of national GN Fb?

I miss the monthly updates re what's on in the surrounding areas.

We take our grandsons out and about during school holidays.
So always on the look out for local events.

Would also be happy to add our recommendations re local visits and attractions for both ourselves and grandchildren.smile

There have been several requests lately to join the Staffordshire Gransnet page. This is no longer in operation, so readers would benefit from joining the national Gransnet Facebook page. We tried to get interest in sharing local information and keeping up our tea/coffee meetings, but the national Gransnet site is so busy and full of interesting content that in the case of Stoke and Staffordshire we're not getting much "foot-fall". Let us know if you want to revive the local strand, it's always possible!
