Hello,

I am a final year BSc Business Psychology student at Birkbeck, University of London, researching to understand intergenerational relationships at work. The study aims to understand how age, compatibility between job roles, and stereotypical social roles impact interactions among co-workers from different age groups. Individuals who decide to participate in the survey will be directed to an online questionnaire where they can consent to participate. The survey consists of 12 questions and should take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

This study looks at workers in a supervisor/supervisee relationship with a significant age gap. I am inviting workers aged over 50 years old to take part. They must either be supervising people under age 35 or vice-versa; somebody under age 35 manages them. For example, any of the following:

You are over 50 years old and supervise people under 35 years old.

You are over 50 years old and are supervised by someone under 35 years old.

I greatly appreciate your participation and support.
