A man is suing his parents for giving birth to him without consent. confused

This may just be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard (and I've heard a lot of ridiculous things in my time wink)

Not sure that this will be a goer?!!!!!!!!!!!!

How did he think he would be able to give consent? If it’s not a wind up it is truly stupid

Scratches head.... confused

Amazed that he has managed to find a lawyer to support him. Or is he doing this without legal representation?

What a wally... (with apologies to any Walters who may be reading this)

He is doing it for all the publicity he is getting. Having read a number of articles about him, he is a fully signed up member of the awkward squad.

His parents should counter sue, claiming that they thought their baby would grow up and be an adult one day.

grin

I have almost thrown the newspaper across the room several times this week - the other irritation being the suggestion that Mary Poppins was racist because of soot on faces. Don't you just despair at times at the stupidity and the unreasonable behaviour of people - or perhaps the craven desire for any publicity, however ultimately demeaning - and also the willingness of the media to give space and airtime to such rubbish?

His parents are both lawyers and he hasn't found a lawyer prepared to take his case...presumably he can't persuade either parent to take it on ?

Struggling2do1 Sat 09-Feb-19 09:46:58

I bet his parents are proud!

gerry86 Sat 09-Feb-19 09:55:28

Is this the end of the human race????!!!!

NfkDumpling Sat 09-Feb-19 09:57:34

Isn't this a bit like Picasso's straight pencil line? Whether he means it or not he's certainly highlighting the stupidity of many law suites.

Read the article. He doesn’t have a lawyer. He thinks his parents should support him for life as he didn’t give his consent to be born. ( I think a lot of children would support that.)

Both his parents are lawyers and his mother says she will except responsibility if he can explain how he could could have given his consent. He thinks a judge will throw out his case.

I think a few children could sue their parents for behaving irresponsibly by getting presgnany!

Mad as a box of frogs...but wait. hmm
Wasn't there a kerfuffle about that saying in the news recently?

Willow10 Sat 09-Feb-19 12:05:36

What a brilliant idea! Do you think I could sue my parents for giving me red hair? grin

Twopence Sat 09-Feb-19 12:06:26

It's not April 1st is it?

Sheilasue Sat 09-Feb-19 12:24:05

Yes saw that on fb, very silly think he wants attention.

Mapleleaf Sat 09-Feb-19 13:53:58

I so agree Rosina!

lovebeigecardigans1955 Sat 09-Feb-19 14:03:02

Yes, he's very silly, isn't he? I remember during a row with my mum as a teenager, snarling as only an adolescent can, "I didn't ask to be born!" This takes general discontent with life to the enth degree.
In a decade or so he may look back on this realise how daft he is.

CardiffJaguar Sat 09-Feb-19 14:30:56

Does India have anything like our April Fools Day? This has to be either a joke or the ranting of someone mentally disturbed.

NanaandGrampy Sat 09-Feb-19 14:34:26

The boys an idiot !
