Remainers keep asking for a Confirmatory vote well in my opinion this is it. All voters have one Vote use it today to vote Leave or Remain at your polling station.

Official results on Sunday night but feel free to do a GN vote here as well if so inclined.

Just voted for The Brexit Party ☺

Firecracker123 Thu 23-May-19 13:12:12

Typo Referendum spelt wrong, good start.

GabriellaG54 Thu 23-May-19 13:13:58

I've voted to leave. Brexit definitely.
I did note several people who appeared to be dithering in my polling station, taking overlong in the booth to put a cross by their party of choice.

Grammaretto Thu 23-May-19 13:17:22

I've voted to stay --I hope! but can we trust any politicians?
I hate this move towards fascism.

GabriellaG54 Thu 23-May-19 13:18:26

Let's get this party started...??????

Firecracker123 Thu 23-May-19 13:23:26

Why not ? ? ? ? ?
I'm confident that The Brexit Party will win the most seats.

Welshwife Thu 23-May-19 13:33:23

What will it do for Britain if it does?

Grammaretto Thu 23-May-19 13:33:43

Not here in Scotland they won't Firecracker123

Firecracker123 Thu 23-May-19 13:38:37

In Great Britain it will I have no doubt.

Nonnie Thu 23-May-19 13:42:34

Nothing democratic about denying those living in other parts of the EU their vote when they have signed up to vote in the UK.

Nothing democratic about the Brexit supporting man who gave me my ballot paper and tried to influence my vote! Yes, I have complained.

Voting for the Brexit party, this afternoon

Firecracker123 Thu 23-May-19 14:05:14

I have voted for poor Theresa. IYSWIM. But I will never again vote for the Cons .Nasty, viscious, back-stabbing, knife wielding little shits.

Smileless2012 Thu 23-May-19 14:22:41

Haven't voted yet, just on our way to do so. Really wanted to support Theresa but I just can't support the Cons. so eloquently described by you Gonegirl so the Brexit party it is.

GracesGranMK3 Thu 23-May-19 14:25:11

What rot will we hear next? This is the election for MEPs not a referendum. Are you really that stupid as not to know the difference?

Gonegirl Thu 23-May-19 14:30:40

Not fuckin' stupid at all GGmk3

Rude person.

Gonegirl Thu 23-May-19 14:32:06

People have always used elections to voice their opinions of the government.

No point really in caring who gets in in the EU anyway.

Whitewavemark2 Thu 23-May-19 14:33:17

And what happens next Monday? Anyone know?

Gonegirl Thu 23-May-19 14:36:08

God?

Grandad1943 Thu 23-May-19 14:38:22

It is only a General Election or a second referendum that can change anything, whatever the outcome of this its Westminster that holds all the power regarding Brexit.

However, have just taken an hour or so off from work to cast my vote, and my wife and myself were the only people in the polling station here in North Somerset. Those working there said polling has been been very slow since they opened this morning.

That states it all I believe.

Gonegirl Thu 23-May-19 14:40:26

Well, it's a bit pointless really. I was dragged there by DH. hmm Still it was a walk. Bit of exercise never goes amiss.

Beckett Thu 23-May-19 14:44:12

Grandad1943 Perhaps the polling is slow because people are working (it usually gets busier in the evening) or like me people have used postal votes.

Drum1234 Thu 23-May-19 14:46:24

The mumsnet discussion on this couldn't be more different. Most saying they're voting Lib Dems to keep Nigel Farage and his ilk out. Perhaps there really is a divide according to age. They also are very concerned, none of them saying they're not bothered about who gets in.

Whitewavemark2 Thu 23-May-19 14:48:42

grandad zilch will happen. The new MEPs will be confident of at least a couple of years worth of attendance. The government will continue announcing that the will of the people is to leave. The voting population will know different as polls show that the leave vote is in steady decline. The government will blame their leader and get rid of her in the most undignified manner possible. They will then set about knifing each other in the back whilst they fight over the next rubbish leader. Farage will laugh all the way to the bank and demand to be heard, but having no representation will be ignored.

Meanwhile the U.K. creaks under the strain of the worst managed country ever to be inflicted by a Tory government.
