I don't always like this guy's politics in detail, but it is good to have someone talking a bit of sense - the Tories of course ditched him.

Yes, he does often talk sense.

I was sorry when he was spun out. Maybe he'll be back one day.

A long interview but well worth watching.

Thanks Luckygirl

Intelligent but not enough political experience. Mind you, Truss and her followers must be a lot further down the pile, given the way they have have messed up big. The Tories need a few years in the wilderness.

Probably they’ll get it if the people on here are anything to go by. A spell in opposition might do them the world of good.

I was just about to post this Luckygirl. Yes, he is great. And yes, time for common sense and positive, intelligent, coalitions politics and the end of see-sawing between extremes enforced by FPTP.

It is weird that some of us on GB are 'accused' of being extreme left, when we are very much left of centre.

It is not extreme left to believe that quality education should be for all. That quality health care for all is a basic need and right. That society should have proper social care nets for those who are less able for one reason or another. That we are all humans and deserve dignity, wherever we come from, our creed or non creed, and coulour of our skin. For caring for animal husbandry and the countryside, our water quality and chemical bio safety. On and on - no, neither make us 'far left' at all, in any way, shape or form.

Very good interview Luckygirl3. Thank you for posting it.

I never had much time for Rory the Tory wink in the past but we are in strange times...

They do, Fleurpepper. ?

Were you on here when Corbyn was Labour leader? People were labelled 'far left' for just saying they liked his mildly socialist policies...
