I'm not sure I've spelt that correctly (it doesn't look right anyway) but it gives the gist: who were your heartthrobs and has it changed over the years?

Mine were:

Clint Eastwood (in his Rawhide and spaghetti western days)
Steve McQueen

and, oddly enough

David Bowie

Now I have developed a soft spot for David Dimbleby!

I liked Poldark the first time round. I would like it even more the second time round if Richard Armitage were in it!

Robert Redford was nice. I think I was just too young at the time to appreciate him. I just remembered Ryan O'Neal, he was rather nice when he was young.

They have started filming the new Poldark I believe. it was on the local news last week.

I have to say, my own DBH is pretty fanciable too. He even had a stalker ten years ago!

Robin Ellis has a part in the new Poldark, as Reverend Halse, I believe. When my son was young he loved Michael Burke, and would kiss the TV screen. Just a baby of course, he is over it now!!!

I have the original Poldarks on DVD, and all of the books..hope they stick to the story this time !!

Georgie Fame, Steve McQueen, John Lennon and Robert Redford. I know swoon at Sam Neil. An actor my best friend described as 'almost good looking'.

I went to see Georgie Fame last year appearing with his 2 sons. He was great, still slim and had his own hair, however he did walk on and off stage in a creaky type way !!

Fab music and his memory of times gone by(e) spot on. grin

Fell completely in love with Dirk Bogarde after seeing him in A Tale of Two Cities when I was about 12. Now, am quite taken with Artem from Strictly

Our school took us to see A Tale of Two Cities; us girls all burst out crying at the end. I loved his books as well.

Gregory Peck <3

Anyone for Stewart Granger? James Mason? I'm quite old!

Tegan Tue 05-Aug-14 21:33:42

Not Stewart Granger. But James Mason had classical good looks. Sam Neil reminds me a bit of him.

Elegran Tue 05-Aug-14 21:36:11

James Stewart.

Lona Tue 05-Aug-14 22:22:27

Stewart Granger did it for me too Lily He was so masterful and bad!

Lilygran Thu 07-Aug-14 13:43:41

The Prisoner of Zenda! Stewart Granger and James Mason. Pity about the really bad hair.

Mary Tyler-Moore, Doris Day and Brigitte Bardot always lifted my spirits.

Nonu Thu 07-Aug-14 14:40:38

For a modern day HEART-THROB.

Ryan Gosling.

Tegan Thu 07-Aug-14 16:37:20

Ryan Gosling's eyes are too close together.

Nonu Thu 07-Aug-14 16:41:33

He can bring them as close too me as he likes !!!
